All eyes may be on Vegas this weekend but Mayweather vs Pacquiao is not the only bout that Irish boxing fans had to worry about. Jason Quigley, Ireland's bright young hope in the professional ranks was taking on Joshua Snyder in Indio, Californiain the early hours of this morning and things went quite well.
The Donegal man extended his record to 6-0 with another commanding knock out victory. A second round knock out of Snyder brought the 23 year old to a perfect six stoppages from six professional bouts and he was very impressive in doing so.

Quigley's opponent had been on a poor run of five consecutive defeats but he has in the past gone the distance with Matt Korborov (who was undefeated until Andy Lee came to town) so Snyder was not there for the fun of it. However, Quigley did make light work of things and it looks like he may be ready for a step up in quality very soon.
