It shows Leto in his guise as the Joker ahead of the upcoming DC Comics film 'Suicide Squad'. Leto's Joker has been roundly criticised, particularly in comparison to Heath Ledger's now iconic Joker. However, what that picture didn't show is the added work that Leto has put in in preparation for the role.

He posted this picture to Instagram this week so fans would see just how seriously he's taking the role. The film is shooting at the moment ahead of a 2016 release.
Particularly impressive when you consider that Leto looked like this not too long ago.
