Now this is something you really don't see everyday.
Ireland will have not one but two(!) sprinters in the final of a 100m sprint on Friday afternoon. Gina Akpe-Moses and Ciara Neville produced stunning runs in their U20 European Championship semi-finals today to book their place in tomorrow's final.
Akpe-Moses finished second in her heat to secure automatic qualification, while Neville progressed with a third placed finish of 11.79.
Not since Patricia Amond and Michelle Walsh in 1979 have Ireland had two runners in the final of a European U20 100m final.

The pair spoke to Athletics Ireland official Twitter account after the race and Neville admitted she was still perfecting her form.
I have been in good shape and I know from my training that I'm in the best shape of my life. I'm just disappointed I couldn't show that in the race.
I'm delighted to get the opportunity.
