After an encouraging display against Belgium John O'Shea's Ireland side go again as on Tuesday as they welcome Switzerland to the Aviva. Here's all you need to know about Ireland v Switzerland.
Ireland created a number of opportunities and missed a penalty on Saturday evening, albeit against a weakened Belgium side. However, another positive result and performance will only increase O'Shea's credentials as permanent Ireland manager. After Lee Carsley ruled himself out of the job last week we are still none the wiser as to who the the job will go to.
All O'Shea can do is focus on the visit of a Swiss team gearing up for the Euros in the summer. The sides last met in 2019 during Mick McCarthy era where Ireland lost 2-0 in a Euro 202o qualifier.
Head coach Murat Yakin is guiding the team in his 2nd tournament after the 2022 World Cup. However, they face a tough group with hosts Germany as well as Scotland and Hungary.
