Jon Walters will captain an Ireland side featuring one debutante as Uruguay visit the Aviva this evening.
Cork centre back Kevin Long, who made his first Premier League start for Burnley towards the end of the season, starts at the heart of Ireland's defence.
Fresh off hitting back at Derby fans for their criticism of a recent interview, Cyrus Christie starts at right-back, while Glenn Whelan - the subject of much speculation with regards to a move away from Stoke - starts in a picked midfield alongside Harry Arter, with Jeff Hendrick presumably playing off the front man.
New Celtic recruit Jonny Hayes also starts.
