The 80's were a bad time for things like haircuts and clothes but a great time for things like novelty sports tv shows. In 1986, in a programme called "Star Wars", Michael Jordan competed against Martin Sheen and Charlie Sheen in a series of basketball related challenges. The show is jam packed full of cheesy music, basketball singlets and a grizzled yet wily veteran host. Charlie Sheen doesn't even look ravaged, which is a telltale sign that the clip is very, very old.
!The Sheens technically win, mostly because of Jordan giving them a big handicap. But shouldn't the best basketball player ever still be able to beat two actors who by all accounts didn't keep themselves at fighting weight during their careers? Who knows, maybe this crushing defeat is what spurred Jordan on to become the best ever.
