Helen Chamberlain has been ever-present on Soccer AM for over 20 years, but her time on the show has come to an end.

Sky have announced a new presenting team, ahead of the show's return to screens on Saturday. John 'Fenners' Fendley, who has hosted the show with Chamberlain for the past two years will be joined by comedian Lloyd Griffiths and former player Jimmy Bullard.

During his playing career, Bullard was regular on the show. Since retiring, the former Fulham star has featured even more on the Saturday morning show, with a weekly pre-recorded slot.

The departure of Chamberlain comes as a shock, despite the show's falling ratings. Along with Tim Lovejoy, the duo were presenters at the show's height, but since Lovejoy's departure in 2007, the ratings have dropped.

Once broadcast over four hours, the show frequently gotten shorter and is now only on screens for an hour-and-a-half each week.

The new series returns on Saturday morning at 10am on Sky 1 and Sky Sports Football.
