Man Utd's opening day defeat will inevitably get all the headlines but there's been plenty of other action on the opening day of the Premier League campaign. West Ham took on Spurs in the first London derby of the season and Kyle Naughton's sending off midway through the first half looked as if it would be the game's defining moment.

The fullback's attempted block on Kevin Nolan was certainly worthy of a penalty but anything more than that is debatable. Fortunately for Spurs, the usually reliable Mark Noble pulled his spot kick to the left of Hugo Lloris' post and the score stayed at 0--0. That was until Spurs defender Eric Dier popped up late on to score the winner on his league debut.
