Between the Masters, Grand National, various big money boxing fights and Paris-Roubaix, it was a fascinating weekend of sport, particularly in individual sport. And as it happens, a tonne of money was won (and lost). As the dust settles on it all, we thought it would be worth looking back on the various purses won by contestants this weekend.
As it turns out, winning (and losing) boxing fights pays a lot better than winning iconic bike races.
