Every week, Frankie Lally gives you the tips you need to make the right picks when you do your NFL betting.
Frankie’s Lock of the Week: Chicago Bears -3 @ 10/11 (General)
When Seattle play on the road, it is usually wise to bet against them and that is precisely what you should do when they visit Chicago.
The Seahawks are 1-5 on their travels this season and that should be 1-6 by the time the Bears get through with them on Sunday evening.
As for the Bears, they're a consistent home favourite when Jay Cutler lines out for them. When he missed Week 11 the Bears were hammered 32-7 by San Francisco.
Last week they whacked Minnesota 28-10 with Cutler back in the line-up and racking up a 86.7 passer rating.
Seattle's road troubles are partly a mix of having to travel farther than any other team in the NFL and often playing in what would be a morning start for them.
Let's just hope their away woes continue at Soldier Field.
Frankie’s Underdog of the Week: Arizona Cardinals @ 23/10 (Paddy Power)
It would be flattering to say the NY Jets and the Cardinals both have pretty average offences, so this make comedown to a defensive showdown which I think Arizona will edge.
Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez, who is having an awful season in the Big Apple, is facing up to a defence ranked 4th in the league in interceptions and 5th in sacks.
I get the feeling if he goes to a passing game here it may lead to trouble, so side with Arizona as the underdog.
