Last Week, Frankie Got Screwed By: The Dallas Cowboys
Last week was an incredible week for this column with 9 of 11 correct picks against the spread, a winning treble and the lock of the week winning comfortably.
But if we were to pick holes in it - which we will - the Cowboys could have made it an even sweeter Sunday.
We tipped the Cowboys as our underdog of the week and after Tony Romo and co raced into a 6-0 lead against the Atlanta Falcons we were looking good, but ultimately they fell to a 19-13 loss.
Frankie’s Lock Of The Week: New England Patriots -11 @ 10/11 (General)
The New England Patriots will be looking to sweep their season series with the Buffalo Bills when these AFC East rivals meet on Sunday and I'm sure they will do just that - with a bit to spare too.
Bill Belichick's men are 20-6-1 ATS in their last 27 meetings with the Bills and coming off a bye week, they should be raring to go and I fancy them to rack up a big score here.
Frankie’s Underdog of the Week: Tennessee Titans @ 9/4 (Boylesports)
The Titans aren’t a good team, that much is clear. However I do think they are better than what they showed in their 51-21 mauling at home against Chicago last week.
The Dolphins aren't up to much either and if the Titans can get their act together on defence they may just have enough about them to cause an upset here although I wouldn't be going to wild on this one.
Frankie’s Team to Avoid: Cincinnati Bengals @ 7/4 (General)
Last week I said I wouldn't back Cleveland against Baltimore if you gave me free money to do it with and it turned out to be a good call as they eventually crumbled 25-15 to the Ravens.
This week I'll say the same about the Bengals as they entertain Eli Manning and his New York Giants.
The Giants should have come away with a win against Pittsburgh last week and at a best price of 7/4 the Bengals are a big no-no in my view to come away with a victory.
Avoid, avoid, avoid.
