The Sunderland mascot tonight is five year old Bradley Lowery. He was re-diagnosed with cancer recently. He needs to raise £700,000 so he can travel to the US for relapse treatment.
His family have set up a twitter page encouraging people to donate £1 to help Bradley to cross the Atlantic for the lifesaving treatment.

He was the mascot at tonight's Sunderland-Everton game. His fellow Sunderland fans displayed banners bearing the message 'We're with you Bradley'.

But it is Everton, who won 3-0 tonight, who have attracted much deserved kudos for donating £200,000 to Bradley's cause, carrying him a significant amount of the way there.
Brilliant stuff. Even their hardened rivals have moved to applaud.
