I'd always considered Everton a classy football club, but this afternoon, they've gone ahead and broken the hearts of wrestling fans petitioning the club to play the entrance music for wrestler Fandango before kickoff of their match against QPR tomorrow.
To those WWE wrestling fans who've requested Fandango's theme for tomorrow, we won't be playing it at Goodison. #efcmusic #efc

80s music day at GP tomorrow. Requested tracks include songs from The Jam, Housemartins, Madness, A-Ha, Dire Straits and FGTH. #efcmusic

If we have a WWE-themed music day, Fandango might just get a look in. But until then... #efcmusic More importantly, team news shortly. #efc

There is but a mere setback in the larger Fandango Revolution, which will hopefully see the song overtake 'The Witch Is Dead' at the top of the UK singles charts.
So today's plan for the #FandangoRevolution - Football fans, ask your club to play the theme during your team's game this weekend.

Here's the brilliant Fandango theme if you've never heard it.
