Kerry will kick-off their Munster Championship bid in Killarney this Sunday against Clare with a few faces new to Championship football; and David Clifford is surely among them.
Starting in a forward line alongside Paul Geaney and James O'Donoghue, Clifford isn't the only Championship debutant Éamonn Fitzmaurice has opted for; Sean O'Shea and Jason Foley will also make their Championship breakthrough.
In what is being touted as the start of a new era for Kerry, Fitzmaurice has demonstrated a good deal of faith in recent Kerry minor sides that have all but dominated underage football in recent years.
