Duracell have released an inspiring 'Trust Your Power' commercial focusing on an NFL player that beat all the odds growing up playing football.
Derrik Coleman, who is the first deaf player to play offense in the NFL's history, has had an incurable hearing impairment since being a child and is essentially deaf. But that never deferred him from reaching his life long goal of playing in the NFL. The high school full back joined the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent and has since become an essential part of their special teams unit.
Coleman wears hearing aides in both ears during games and relies heavily on lip-reading to communicate.
Pretty his story is a shoe-in to be the next 'The Blindside'.
