Liverpool loanee Adam Bogdan suffered an excruciating embarrassment this evening.
At least Leicester stand-in keeper Andy Marriot had the excuse that he didn't know Robbie Keane was behind him...
Interestingly, the first comment on youtube underneath Robbie's famous opportunist goal is from the Irish sounding Tom Molloy who writes, "OK the keeper was at fault but what a nasty unsportsmanlike thing to do. Shows the type of lowlife player he is."
#freespeech.
In tonight's Championship game between Norwich City and Wigan at Carrow Road, the visitor's Hungarian goalkeeper appeared to be under the impression that he was all on his own in the box.
He could dawdle over his hoof at leisure. Quite how this entered his head is a mystery. Certainly his touch was a bit heavy but he was criminally slow in realising it.
In the meantime, Jacob Murphy nipped in and passed the ball into the more or less empty net.
Not quite is clever as Robbie's effort though. We await Tom Molloy's judgement on young Jacob Murphy's character. Norwich currently lead 2-0.
GOL GOL GOL!
