It's been a fruitful evening for two Republic of Ireland internationals at Villa Park.
Aston Villa are in action against Nottingham Forest in The Championship's final game of the day. Two Munstermen found the back of net, less than eight minutes apart.
Despite trailing 1-0 at half-time, Daryl Murphy equalised for Forest in the early stages of the second-half. His fifth league goal of the season, saw the Waterford native wriggle his way past John Terry and James Chester before scoring.
Clearly jealous of his international teammate, Aston Villa's Conor Hourihane scored his fifth league goal of the season minutes later.
The Cork midfielder's free-kick sailed into the bottom corner beating Villa's goalkeeper Jordan Smith.
Murphy's goalscoring record at international level doesn't pay justice to his talents. A consistent scorer in The Championship, he is clearly in good form compared to some international teammates.
Hourihane's appearance off the bench against Serbia showed he is in the forefront of Martin O'Neill's thoughts. A few more goals like that could push him into the starting midfield ahead of next month's double-header.
