It's been a day to remember for Preston's Daryl Horgan.
Called up to the provisional Republic of Ireland squad for the games against Moldova and Wales, the Galway-born winger set up the winner for Preston away to Hull City.
Horgan has found opportunities to start at Preston limited this season under new manager Alex Neil, but he showed what he is capable of, coming off the bench.
With less than five minutes to go, Horgan easily got by former England international Michael Dawson, before Callum Robinson headed home from point-blank range.
Horgan's performance did not go unnoticed by Preston's fans. Before kick-off, many had been calling for the former Dundalk winger to be starting the game.
88' Daryl Horgan bursts forward, beats his man in the box before his cross across the face of goal is headed in by Robinson!

Says something too when Robinson and Horgan set up the winner despite only playing I think once each this season. It’s a squad game #PNEFC
