Roxy are coming in for some criticism for this promo video for the Roxy Pro 2013 surfing competition which is coming up soon in Biarritz. It features an anonymous blonde woman pictured mostly from the rear and in various states of undress. The woman is believed to be a high profile female surfer and the aim of the campaign is for viewers to attempt to guess who she is. The effect its had instead is to anger the surfing community who are unimpressed that the company would try to sell sex over surfing and they object to the fairly blatant and frequent product placement for a variety of corporate sponsors. Below that is a unofficial parody video to promote a men's surfing event made in the same style but with one not so subtle difference, see if you can spot it! Anyway the parody is fairly crass so...
