Kieran McGeeney loves it, maybe Roy Keane should give it a go too.

That's what Conor McGregor's coach John Kavanagh thinks anyway. Kavanagh was talking about MMA and the stress relief which it can provide.

He told the Irish Daily Star:

I’d be honoured if Roy Keane came to the gym.

It’d be great to have him here. Everyone knows physical exercise is great for stress relief. It’s escapism and it can really help you forget about your troubles.

Other people like comedian Jason Byrne and Laurence Kinlan from Love/Hate come in.

MMA is exciting and fun. We have an MMA foundation course which teaches MMA without contact.

Keane has been involved in a number of high profile altercations recently including an alleged incident with a taxi driver and there was also that tense exchange between him and a journalist at a press conference back in November. Presumably these are the types of incidents which Kavanagh thinks some stress relief could help Keane avoid.
