Conor McGregor tweeted early this morning that his next fight is going to be against Diego Sanchez in Mexico on November 15th at UFC 180.
The problem with though is that Sanchez is already scheduled to fight another Irishman, Norman Parke, at the event and that fight is to be at lightweight whereas McGregor's most recent bout was at featherweight.
I am fighting @DiegoSanchezUFC in Mexico, November 15th. He spoke a big game. Now he will pay with his career. VIVA LA EIRE!!!

And this was all news to McGregor's coach John Kavanagh too.
I guess I'm going to Mexico

McGregor and Sanchez have some history going back to this Twitter spat last year, so it did have some plausibility.
Just because dana takes you for a ride in his Ferrari does not make you the next best thing. The guy is talented very but hype is just hype.

However, UFC President Dana White has been quoted by ESPN reporter Brett Okamoto as saying the fight is not happening.
Dana White on Conor in Mexico: That kid is nuts. No he's not. He wants to but he's not.

This is what John Kavanagh thought of the whole episode.
