These must be interesting times for Chris Sutton. The Celtic legend and charming curmudgeon has been winning praise for his no holds barred punditry this year, so much so that Barney Ronay is even expending column inches on him. Sutton is developing a reputation and the question for Britain's most talked about pundit is this: stay controversial or quieten down?
Sutton, based on today's commentary of Dundee vs Celtic on BT, is sticking with what's worked for him. Sutton found himself debating the merits on a Dundee penalty claim after a clumsyish tackle by Erik Sviatchenko with Stephen Craigan after Celtic beat Dundee 1-0 today over in Scotland. Sutton again found himself dropping the hammer on another unwitting panelist.

Craigan did his best to stay above the fray but Sutton could not avoid going for the jugular.
No one in football punditry does disinterested sneering like Sutton. He also won plaudits for being critical of the Dundee physio for wearing a backpack. Long may it last, Chris.
