Worrying news from the world of the NFL today, as Carolina Panthers starting quarterback and face of the franchise, Cam Newton, has been involved in a road accident.
Newton, who threw for 226 yards and 3 touchdowns against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, was travelling over Interstate 277 when his vehicle collided with another car. An ambulance was quickly on the scene and Newton was seen being carried into the ambulance on a stretcher.
