Shawne Merriman's mystifying walkout here prompted a hilariously stunned reaction from the two ESPN hosts Dan Le Betard and Bomani Jones.

Merriman has had a sometimes turbulent life off the pitch and had been forced to live in a shelter after his house burned down. The San Diego Chargers' linebacker was being questioned gently on how this felt when he almost cordially says "Thanks Guys" and with any furious rancour (it seemed) just upped and left.
