With the influx of foreign players into the Premiership recently (notably Falcao, Di Maria and Costa to name a few), there comes an expectation that goes with it. Especially for the high earners.
It's a culture change, as well as a change of club. Playing in England isn't always paradise and one Premier League legend offered some top insight into the moving into the league.
David Ginola recalls arriving at Newcastle. The Frenchman joined from PSG in 1995 and said finding the balance between work and his family was a tricky situation.
"On my first day in Newcastle, I went for a drive around town with my wife and said 'this is where we're going to live'. I realised what an enormous step I had taken when my wife started crying in my arms in the car."
Hopefully Mrs. Falcao doesn't encourage a U turn for United's new main man or we may miss out on this:
