World champ Paul Brady has been installed as 1/3 favourite to win this weekend's WPH Race4Eight handball pro stop at the New York Athletic Club - and you can watch the action live online.
The Cavanman heads the field for the fifth stop on the tour, coming off the back of wins in Los Angeles and Houston, in a tournament which includes qualifier hopefuls Stephen Cooney from Mayo, Carl Browne from Meath, Keith Bourke and Ciaran Neary from Kilkenny and recently-crowned Irish intermediate champion Colin Crehan from Clare.
Brady won this event last season but, coming off the back of a four-month break, he was pushed much closer than usual, with young Californian powerhouse Mando Ortiz giving him a scare and Westmeath's Robbie McCarthy forcing a tiebreaker in the final.
McCarthy is absent this weekend due to commitments at home - he has qualified for the Irish Senior Championship final against Charly Shanks on Saturday week - but the presence of the three Irishmen in the field will ensure huge interest in the event, which will be webcast live on wphlive.tv and the Watch ESPN app.
