Pat Hickey and Kevin Mallon have both been formally charged following the Rio Games ticketing scandal.
The charge sheet contains includes supplying tickets for the purposes of touting, false advertising, fraud, money laundering, and tax evasion.
The Irish Times reporter Tom Hennigan says that the local prosecutor Marcus Kac signed the indictment after reviewing the police investigation.
Also charged is Marcus Evans, the Ipswich Town owner and the chairman of the THG sports hospitality group. The three directors of Lucan based firm Pro10 have also been charged.
A judge will review the charges filed by Mr. Kac. He/she will make the decision on whether to proceed with the prosecution or throw the charges out.
Hickey is due to be questioned by police later today.
