Oh dear oh dear. Far be from me to make terrible puns but the Irish papers had an absolute mare yesterday. Not one of the 22 featured tipsters picked more than one winner on the card. And in fact only five picked a winner at all.
Included in the bunch of winless know-it-alls was our leader for the week, Peter O'Hehir of the Irish Daily Mirror. He could only manage three place finishes in the last three races, long after I had blown all my money on his first three selections. However he still holds on to top spot, with the Racing Post tipster joining him at the summit.

And now we have the cuts. Although I wasn't able to cut everyone I wanted to, I have cut a lot of them. We've streamlined through all the disappointing tipsters, who've had enough chances to prove themselves by now, and we've given full attention to our top five. Here's what they say about today.
