Marshawn Lynch the Seattle Seahawks star running back has become something of a cult figure in the Pacific City. His rampaging touchdown runs and his pre-game ritual of eating Skittles has led him to new levels of popularity.
Seattle, the city itself has gone Super Bowl mad and in honour of Lynch, Skittles have released a limited edition 'Seattle mix'. God he loves them skittles

However it's not just Skittles that have benefited from Lynch's popularity.
To the amusement of many people, Sunday's game happens to be contested by Seattle and the Denver Broncos who both come from states that have just legalised cannabis. Cue the 'Weed Bowl' jokes.
Cannabis growers in Seattle, called 'Zion Gardens', wasted no time in getting behind their team and in particular the star man Lynch. Now available to buy is an extra strong strain of the drug aptly named 'Beast Mode'.The owner of the Queen Anne Cannabis club in Seattle, Nate "Diggity" Johnson believes in the new strain and the star running back 'Marshawn has gears when he’s running and it’s kind of like that. It has a little bit of a slow start and then kicks in.'
Mr Diggity could have a point...
