Cathal Pendred beat former UFC welterweight Che Mills in a dominant performance that has many speculating that he will be put on the UFC Boston card in August with his SBG teammate Conor McGregor.
The fight wasn't for Pendred’s welterweight championship as Mills missed weight, but it was an impressive victory nonetheless as Mills’ corner threw in the towel in the second round as Pendred reigned down some heavy strikes on the ground.

Team Ryano’s Neil Seery won the inaugural Cage Warriors Flyweight title with a third round armbar over Finland’s Mikael Silander.
The 33 year-old is one of the most experienced and respected fighters on the Irish MMA circuit and follows recent Irish Cage Warrior championship winners in Conor McGregor, Chris Fields and Cathal Pendred.

26-year-old Paul “Redser” Redmond of Team Ryano won via toe-hold over England’s Marc Allen in the 2nd round in front of his hometown crowd.
The promising fighter has now won 5 fights in a row and puts himself into contention for a shot at the lightweight title.

Chris Fields had a majority draw decision against France’s Norman Paraisy with one judge scoring it 29-27 to Fields and the other scoring it 28-28 in one of the most entertaining fights of the night.
