The sun is up and we're all set for day two of horse racing's most exciting festival after what was - Annie Power aside - a great day for punters yesterday. Looking down the list of our Cheltenham tips in the Irish media, it's a lot healthier than this time last year but we still have a few casualties.
TOP OF THE CLASS
At the top we've got Sam Turner who was in unbelievable form yesterday, with six out of his seven picks placing. Meanwhile Gordon Eliott only tipped five horses but that included two 8/1 winners.
GO HOME ROGER!
This year we've become a lot more cutthroat and will be axing the worst performing tipsters from yesterday. Let's face it, a toddler could have picked a couple of winners yesterday so I'm afraid the bottom five tipsters are all axed.
DAY TWO PICKS
Moving onto today so. Like many a Cheltenham Wednesday it seems we might be best off just keeping our money for Thursday and Friday, with so many races too hard to call.
That being said, if it's big odds winners you're looking for then there are plenty of options including a 9/1 NAP from our table leader Sam Turner.
*Champagne Fever is a non-runner in the 3.20.
