Some of the world's footballers have played with their socks down and with Jack Grealish looking to become the next player who is added to the list, we take a look back at some of the more recognisable players who played in this style.
1. Laurent Blanc
The former Manchester United and Barcelona and current Paris Saint Germain manager played professional football in France, Italy, Spain and England and rarely pulled his socks up. He sometimes didn't even bother with shinguards.
2. Rui Costa
Rui Costa made the "low socks look" appear effortless. He bundled his socks at the bottom of his ankles and he made it look cool. He also scored 92 goals over an 18 year career thanks to the look.
3. Frencesco Totti
Aside from giving him superpowers, it also gave him the ability to not age. Totti has been on the go now for 23 years since his debut with Roma in 1992. If he keeps those socks low he could go for another 23 years.
4. Michel Platini
Platini was said to have perfect the free kick and we strongly suspect that it would not have been possible were it not for his low socks.
5. Thomas Muller
Muller epitomises the lazy, awkward style that so many footballers with low socks possess. Aside from being a World Cup winner, he is the poster boy for players with their socks pulled down of his generation.
