It has been revealed that LeBron James will work with ESPN films on a children’s show for Disney TV. ‘Becoming’ will document the upbringings’ of star athletes, starting of course with LeBron James.
LeBron himself had a very tough childhood, growing up in Akron, Ohio with his young mother. LeBron’s early life in Ohio has been highlighted before but James feels his new show will help inspire the next generation.
30 for 30
Also working on this new show will be the people behind ESPN’s excellent 30 for 30 series. This should give the show a level of polish and production quality usually associated with the ESPN series. The first episode of ‘Becoming’ will be out later this month and will coincided with James return to the Cleveland Cavaliers .
As last night marked Lebron’s official return to the Cavaliers in their annual ‘Wine & Gold Scrimmage’ which took place last night in the quicken loans arena. The sell out crowd were treated to a bit showboating from Kyrie Irving.
