There's A New No. 1 Ranked Fighter In The UFC Featherweight Division

Frankie Edgar is the new number one ranked fighter in the UFC Featherweight division.

The 33-year-old moves above fellow American Chad Mendes in the ladder. Mendes most recently lost to title holder Jose Aldo, in on of the fights of the year, at UFC 179 in October.

Edgar's most recent win was over the currently number five ranked contender Cub Swanson at UFC Fight Night Austin in October. As of last week, Conor McGregor has risen to number three.
