Irish politicians flying off around the world for St Patrick's Day has long been an issue of contention but in the eyes of any wrestling fan, Enda Kenny's trip to the US is now, on reflection, entirely justified.
The story behind how our Taoiseach, Hulk Hogan and (photobombing) Jimmy 'Mouth of the South' Hart ended up in a photo together is a good one.
According to RTÉ, Hogan and Kenny were on the same flight from Atlanta on Saturday because they were both heading to the South by South West Festival in Austin. The only problem was that Hogan was running late and it looked like he might miss the flight.
Enter his lord and saviour, Mr Kenny.
Because of the security requirements around the Taoiseach, the flight was delayed which meant Hogan managed to make it. The WWE legend apparently came up to Kenny to tell him just that. He then asked Kenny if he was interested in joining the NWO but in fact, Hogan ended up joining Kenny's stable; The BSCITWIWTDB.
