Ajax Mother's Day
turns out that Ireland are among just three countries including the UK and Nigeria that celebrate Mother's Day at the fourth Sunday of Lent, while the majority of the world celebrate it on the second Sunday in May.
To mark the occasion in the Netherlands, Ajax decided to bring the mother's of their players out onto the pitch with them for their match with Cambur Leeuwarden.
It's a great gesture from the Dutch club, and it looks like the mother's appreciated it.

Ajax aren't the only sportsteam who mark mother's day every year with teams like Super Rugby's Queensland Reds putting their mother's names on the player's individual jerseys themselves.
