MMA fans in the know have long drawn parallels between Conor McGregor's extreme bravado and that of Chael Sonnen at the height of his powers. Sonnen was a thorn in the side of anyone he came up against as much for his notorious motor mouth as his fighting skills. Remind you of anyone?

Sonnen's name has continually been suggested when it comes to discussing McGregor's pre-fight hype tactics and it seems that's something the American fighter is quite pleased with.
Sonnen as mother and McGregor as baby, we're not sure that's something the Dubliner would agree with.
