Renowned Irish DJ Tony Fenton has sadly passed away from prostate cancer at the age of 53. Fenton has been much loved voice on Irish radio for many a year; most recently in his afternoon slot on Today FM since 2004.
Irish musicians and many of Tony's colleagues have been paying fitting tribute to him. RIP to a legend.
heartbroken to hear of Tony Fenton's passing. Audrey and I loved him very much. We had so many great times with him, so many

I've encountered so many great people in radio, but few if any were as kind with their time and wisdom, and so damn nice. So long, Tony

I'd always giggle when Tony Fenton rang our office. To hear that voice when you pick up the phone... it never got old! And always so lovely.
