Unlike the NBA, big name players rarely get traded in the NFL. So when a major name in the league does move, it's always notable.
ESPN's Adam Schefter broke the news that the Buffalo Bills are trading linebacker Kiko Alonso to the Philadelphia Eagles for running back LeSean McCoy.
Filed to ESPN: Bills have notified LB Kiko Alonso he is going to be traded to Philadelphia for RB LeSean McCoy. Trade official next week.

McCoy is one of the best running backs in the league. He has the most rushing yards of any player in the NFL over the last five years and at just 26 is still in his prime.
Alonso is a highly-rated young defensive player drafted by the Bills in 2013. He was voted the Pro Football Writer's Association Defensive Rookie of the Year in that season. He did however spend all of last season sidelined with a torn ACL.
The deal cannot be completed until the start of the new season on March 10th.
