Back in December a group of MMA fighters launched a lawsuit against the UFC accusing the organisation of being a monopoly and limiting the earnings of fighters.
In Toronto on Friday, Jose Aldo was asked by Brian D'Souza of BloodyElbow.com about the lawsuit and if he had considered joining the group represented by Phoenix lawyer Roy Maysey.
I was just wondering about the pay situation. Do you think it's improved at all and how is the lawsuit effecting your contract with the UFC? Do you have any thoughts about joining the law suit by Roy Maysey?
The Brazilian speaks through an interpreter, so the process of him answering a question can often take an extended period of time. Getting a little bit impatient, Dana White decided to translate.
He said you're a dick. Just translating for him.
This is what Aldo actually had to say.
I'm happy, I'm not complaining. People are going to do whatever they want to do. That's up to them. I'm happy with my contract.
The journalist and White then had another exchange. What D'Souza had to say was inaudible but you could certainly hear what the UFC president's thoughts on the situation.
Cool. Yeah shut up. Sit down. Shut up. Shut up. Sit down and shut up.
