Irish MMA fans were already eagerly anticipating the coming UFC Fight Night which will take place in Glasgow on July 18, as Joseph Duffy is set to take on Ivan Jorge where he hopes to capitalise on his stellar UFC debut, but now we have another reason to look forward to the UFC's first visit to Scotland.
Paul Redmond, who fights out of Team Ryano MMA, will fight Scotland's Robert Whiteford in his second UFC bout after he lost to Misrad Bektic via unanimous decision when he stepped in as a late alternative back in January.
Whiteford has an impressive record of 11-2, but Redmond will be hoping he can silence the Glasgow crowd and walk out with a win to get his UFC career up and running.
We wish him all the best, the Glasgow card is now one Irish MMA fans can't afford to miss.
