After the mascot for the World Cup in Brazil in 2014 was revealed to be an armadillo earlier this week, the organisers of the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow today revealed their mascot as a thistle named Clyde. We sadly cannot think of any more plants that are sporting mascots. Perhaps Clyde is a visionary.
