It's finally here.
Irish NFL fans who work early on Monday mornings can rejoice. It's very hard to find good highlights of NFL games if you haven't seen them. With none on YouTube, hour long Sky Sports highlights or the Channel 4 highlights show isn't until the following Saturday.
Well fear no more as Google and NFL have agreed a deal that will see YouTube carry exclusive highlights packages for all NFL games.
Google's pact has come just in time for the Super Bowl this Sunday, and the agreement includes Google showing scores, videos, broadcast information and other info in its search results.
Youtube will not broadcast live games to avoid competing with NFL broadcasters, but it marks the first foray into the digital content rights for the NFL following the NBA, NHL and MLB in America.
The NFL will now have content across several platforms, with deals struck with Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
