Yoel Romero, number one contender in the UFC middleweight division, really, really wants to fight the champ Michael Bisping.
After UFC 205 where Romero gruesomely destroyed former champ Chris Weidman, his public call out of Bisping looked to have done enough to secure the fight as the Englishman, looking down from his vantage point in the Fox Sports studio, gestured as though he was ready for the fight to happen.
And yet we're still waiting for confirmation.
It seems an inevitability, and that Romero and Bisping will fight for the title in the near future, but as we have nothing concrete there is room for Romero to get nervous that it won't happen, and he is accusing Bisping of ducking him.
He's spoken out in the media at how he believes Bisping wants nothing to do with the 'Soldier Of God' and his eight-fight winning streak, but now he's taken the public calling out of his desired opponent to new levels by creating a 'GoFundMe' page to raise fund to help pay for Bisping for his medical bills after they fight.

The campaign has since been removed, as it turns out that 'GoFundMe' don't really like fake fundraisers while there are so many charities and pledges trying to actually raise money for something.
Still, it's creative from Romero, something we haven't seen before, and it is very, very clear that he wants to put pressure on Bisping to get a deal for this fight over the line. It would be a big surprise if Yoel's next fight is not for the title after so emphatically putting Weidman away, but it's clear that he wants to fight Bisping as soon as possible.
We'll see if he gets his wish in the coming weeks.
