UFC Fight Night 72, which takes place July 18 at SSE Hydro in Glasgow, was set to be a very interesting card for Irish MMA fans with Joseph Duffy and Paul Redmond already scheduled to fight, but now we have another Irish fighter who will make the short trip over to Scotland and join in the action.
Paddy 'The Hooligan' Holohan will fight Vaughan Lee as he attempts to climb the 125 pound division, and we can't wait to see him back in action.
Holohan is coming off the back of a unanimous decision vicory over Shane Howell at UFC fight night Boston where his teammate and friend Conor McGregor dismantled Dennis Siver, and we hope the man with the best pound-for-pound t-shirt in MMA can improve on his professional record of 11-1-1.
His opponent Vaughan Lee is dropping down to flyweight from bantamweight where he held a record of 3-4 in the UFC, his record stands at 14-10-1 overall.
Best of luck Paddy, hopefully we see a clean sweep of Irish wins in Glasgow next month. Tickets go on sale on Friday, May 29th and you will need to be quick because this one is expected to sell out quickly.
