UFC 199 isn't here yet. We're very excited for UFC 200 in early July. But the machine just keeps on rolling.
The promotion is expected to announce the headline fight for UFC 201, and it should be a cracker. According to MMA Fighting, Robbie Lawler will be defending his welterweight title against Tyron Woodley. Lawler most recently defended his title at UFC 195 against Carlos Condit in a 5-round thriller labelled the 'best of 2016' - while his bloodbath with Rory MacDonald at UFC 197 was considered one of the best in UFC history.
It's fair to say that fights with Lawler are always captivating viewing, and we should expect nothing less when he gets in the octagon against Woodley in UFC 201. Woodley is the third ranked fighter in the division - and hasn't fought since January 2015. He was due to fight Johny Hendricks at UFC 192 - before Hendricks failed to make weight and pulled out.
