Sean O'Connell has a different approach for making a name for himself in the UFC to Conor McGregor. While the Irishman likes to play mindgames by trash talking his opponent, American O'Connell goes in the opposite direction. His staredowns at weigh-ins have become must-watch viewing, with O'Connell playing games like rock,paper scissors, and other ploys to take the tension out of the situation.
O'Connell is preparing for a fight at UFC Fight Night in Boston against Sweden's Ilir Latifi, and the weigh in between the pair was just as brilliant as you'd come to expect from O'Connell. The American paused the traditional staredown to present Latifi some flowers before Latifi reciprocates with some sweets.
