It wasn't just Tyron Woodley's underdog win in the main event or Nikita Krylov's head kick from hell, last night's UFC 201 delivered some incredible action.
Matt Brown's recent slide continued when he was finished inside the first round by Jake Ellenberger, himself a fighter who has endured some tough times inside the octagon in recent times.
Brown, formerly a top contender in the welterweight division, has now dropped four of his last five fights while Ellenberger picks up just his second win in his last seven bouts.
Huge victory and KO for @EllenbergerMMA at #UFC201! https://t.co/Gk9vHJr4a1

Elsewhere, it wasn't a memorable night for Damian Grabowski who was pounded out by heavyweight slugger Anthony Hamilton just 14 seconds inside the first round. Hamilton has been part of the UFC roster for over two years now but this is - by far - the biggest statement he has made in that time.
Next up? We would't mind a slugfest between him and Francis Ngannou. Is that too much to ask?
Big, big knockout from @AHamilton_MMA after just 14 seconds! 👊 #UFC201 https://t.co/lC8AWCEJgO

Anthony Hamilton, of all people, gives Team Jackson-Wink a much-needed W. KOs Grabowski in seconds. Impressive.

In the very first bout of the evening Australian veteran Damien 'Beatdown' Brown very much lived up to his moniker when he bested Cesar Arzamendia with a stinging first round knockout.
Brown's victory over the Paraguayan is, by far, the most memorable moment of the 31-year-old's career.
Huge win for @beatdown155 to get us underway at #UFC201!! https://t.co/S4CDb13ICJ
