The Chive were lucky enough to sit down with Khabib Nurmagomedov ahead of his highly anticipated fight with Tony Ferguson at UFC 209 this weekend, and they put their time with the #1 lightweight contender to good use.
Rather than quiz Khabib on how he will approach the Ferguson fight, or how his own preparations have gone, The Chive decided to present him with a series of popular romantic comedy films and asked him to give his verdict based on what he saw.
And it was gold. A man of view words, Khabib immediately dismissed all of the films but 'Love Actually' was a particular highlight.
I don't like watch movie about love. Too much movie make your heart weak.
We asked @ufc titan Khabib Nurmagomedov to break down the plots of popular romantic comedies. Not sure what we expected… #UFC209 #sponsored pic.twitter.com/Xm3j9pye3L

You certainly can't imagine him cuddling up with a blanket and a tub of ice-cream to watch 'Love Actually'.
We learned in a recent Russian documentary on his upbringing that where he hails from in Dagestan there is very little other than wrestling and boxing to occupy yourself, so it's understandable that he's never heard of these films before.
UFC 209 is one of the most exciting cards in a long time, a point hammered home by the fact that Nurmagomedov vs Ferguson, arguably the most exciting lightweight fight ever set, is the co-main event of the evening as Tyron Woodley and Stephen Thompson will go at it again. We can't wait.
