Rory MacDonald and Stephen Thompson went the distance is a thrilling bout in UFC Fight Night in Ottawa last night.
Thompson was surgical in picking apart MacDonald to win a unanimous decision. Thompson has now won seven fights in a row, and is targeting a title shot at UFC's New York debut in UFC 205.
MacDonald was dropped in the third round, but it wasn't until the final two that both fighters started to go for it, and tore into each other:

Afterwards, MacDonald was gracious in defeat, but it looks like he will have to undergo surgery before he gets back in the octagon.
MacDonald said he heard a voice in his head that said “go down” when his nose got shattered. He didn't listen.
